National Juried Exhibition, presented by the Women’s Caucus for Art at the Phoenix Gallery, New York City from January 30 to February 23, 2013 with Cora Rosevear, Associate Curator of Painting and Sculpture, The Museum of Modern Art as juror.  With our prospectus for we asked for work on multiple expressions of “Bound”, that could range from literal to poetic, abstract to representational, and psychological to social and political commentary. We sought to show work that explores the concepts of bound and borders—be they internal, external, constructed, imagined, imposed, or embraced and how boundaries define and shape our identities, relationships, ideas and politics. Cora Rosevear chose 140 artists for Bound with 25 works in the Phoenix Gallery and an additional 118 featured in the catalog.
