Momentum presents the art and ideas of contemporary women artists. Artists were invited to explore the idea of Momentum, in an array of media, with the theme broadly interpreted from an activist, political or personal context; to reflect on struggles and accomplishments and to portray how this inspires their work and momentum in moving ahead. Rita Gonzalez chose 97 women artists for Momentum with 52 works in Gallery 825 and an additional 56 featured in the catalog. View exhibition catalog here.
